G22 Grizzly Backpacking System

National Security Logistics is proud to announce a new product, one intended primarily for civilian and military aircrews of smaller countries, backpackers, trailblazers, and others looking for simple and reliable firearm – the G22 Grizzly Backpacking System. The G22 is a multipurpose firearm capable of being built as either a US-legal single-shot .22LR rifle, or a single-shot .22LR pistol.

In contrast to most weapons intended for use in backpacking and aircrew survival, the G22 was designed around 2 main features: modularity and an exceedingly low price. The firearm is, with the exception of the barrel and firing pin, entirely polymer, making for a very light weapon. As is expected for such a weapon, the G22 folds up compactly into backpacks, suitcases, or the crevasses of a car or plane. Due to the gun’s polymer construction, per-unit prices are low – low enough to make the weapon cheap and easily available to all. Quality was not sacrificed for price, however – like the MOD9, G22s can be constructed of innumerable polymers ranging from the cheap to the expensive. G22s can be built either as pistols or rifles – short-barreled rifles can be constructed in the United States should a tax stamp be paid.

Additionally, the G22’s development as a survival platform has additionally allowed for a focus on ammunition storage. .22LR, Short, or 6mm Flobert cartridges can be safely stored in the upper stock of the gun as well as in the handguard, significantly increasing the storage capacity of the G22 compared to other low-cost backpacking guns.

Whether you want something simple, reliable, and easy to maintain at a cost that won’t burn a hole in your wallet, whether you want to get the most for your dollar and make sure your pilots always have something to keep themselves safe, or whether you’re looking for junior’s first gun, the G22 will fulfill all your needs and more.
