In cooperation with the fine designers at IMA, DB Firearms, and Pixel Armaments, NSL has a new product offering – the first proper pistol available to our customer base: the IMA Mark-R. The Mark-R is a simple semiautomatic .22LR pistol designed to provide customers with a good target shooting or plinking experience at a price below that of anyone else on the market.
Developed over a year, IMA’s design team worked studiously with their partners to create an ergonomic pistol design built around commonly available aftermarket components and the revolution of polymer construction. The Mark-R, minus some critical pressure-bearing components, is almost entirely made of polymer – easily strong enough to withstand .22 ammunition, but also cheap enough to allow us to offer you the weapon at an exceedingly low price. The Mark-R is designed to use Ruger MP22/45 magazines, but can also take Ruger Mk IV magazines as well – both exceedingly common magazines available at a low price on the greater market. Despite its low price, the Mark-R maintains the quality of all firearms NSL offers, with exceptional reliability worthy of being offered under the NSL brand.
Accuracy is comparable to other common-use pistols in .22LR. The Mark-R runs effectively with a wide variety of .22LR ammunition, though Aguila Super Colibri and Sniper Subsonic ammunition will not effectively cycle the gun.
If you want to get the best .22LR pistol for the price, and don’t want to risk your safety with junk guns of years gone by, buy a Mark-R and enjoy safely plinking away with an excellent handgun that won’t put a dent in your wallet.
