The MOD9 is mostly made of polymer. Exceptionally adaptable, the MOD9’s receiver can be made out of a large number of different materials depending on the customer, ranging from cheap(ABS/PLA) to expensive(glass-reinforced Zytel or carbon fiber-reinforced Nylon). In-house durability tests, as well as those of at-home fabricators, have showcased the MOD9’s ability to survive wear and tear regardless of whatever material used. The MOD9’s variable magazine well system allows the Glock magazines to be swapped out for Uzi/Colt 9mm, Scorpion Evo 3, MP5, or multiple other types of 9mm magazines.
